Saint Bernard School works to skill students in the use of technology to better prepare them for high school and beyond. Kindergarten through fifth grade students attend technology Instruction class one day per week and Junior High Students twice per week.
All classrooms are equipped with interactive Smart Boards for hands on lessons. Document cameras, digital cameras, video cameras, and student response devices are available for more interactive learning. There is Hi-Speed Comcast Xfinity Internet Access, Cat 5e and Fiber Optic cable infrastructure in 100% of the School buildings and Meraki wireless Internet Access points throughout the buildings.
We have yearly subscriptions to Discovery Streaming, Accelerated Reader Program, Mathletics, Math Seeds, Typing Club and Quaver Music.. This course of study introduces the more advanced skills of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Internet Research, Internet Safety, Google Sketch-up, and computer programming.
